A Message from Our Founder
At 16, I faced a choice: abandon education to support my siblings or persevere for a better future. I chose education—a decision that transformed not just my life but an entire community.
After founding Great Expeditions East Africa in 2013, I dedicated a majority portion of my success to establishing the Lungala Education Centre under Njuba Kitibwa Foundation, serving a community that previously had no nearby school.
Today, I’m asking you to join me in extending this pathway to even more children who deserve the chance to become who they’re meant to be.

Building Pathways Where
None Existed
No Place to Learn
Before Lungala Education Centre, families had no nearby primary school—no place to learn to read or discover mathematics.
No Path to Curiosity
Children had no place to feed curiosity or develop skills that could break cycles of poverty.
Growing Demand
Now parents are pleading for children as young as three to attend—to give them even a glimpse of a hopeful future.
