About Us

Njuba Kitibwa Foundation – Lungala Education Center

Njuba Kitibwa Foundation is an indigenous, non-profit-making organization founded with the purpose of supporting and improving the livelihoods of children in marginalized and vulnerable communities together with their families. We do this through providing education, health services, as well as social and economic empowerment. We are working towards enabling and ensuring that the children in our communities feel safe, educated, healthy, morally upright and economically sustainable.
At Lungala Education Center, we are educating, supporting and empowering children through Nursery and Primary school to acquire the basic education to compete with those outside their community. Besides classroom work, we offer soft skills trainings through the STEM program that enables the children to learn how to make simple products. Our medical camps through the different partners give the children a clear understanding of their health and wellbeing. The Parent – Children community groups through prayers create a wider bond as we also listen to the children’s challenges then provide counseling. Through these programs, we have managed to work with community leaders, school teachers, religious leaders, among others, to realize our organization goals and objectives.
